Pack your imagination and climb aboard the magical yellow suitcase for a very special Halloween adventure in Washington, D.C.!

Join Hapkinful, Hapki, Gracious, Kinder, and their cheerful little blue bird, Wiggle, as they leave Happyville behind and soar toward the capital of the United States.

When they arrive in Washington, D.C., Halloween excitement is everywhere. Pumpkins glow, children hurry through the city in colorful costumes, and museums and historic places are ready to welcome families for a fun-filled celebration.

The Hapkinful family discovers that Washington, D.C. is a wonderful place to explore. Surrounded by famous monuments, fascinating museums, and reminders of American history, the children learn that an adventure can be exciting and educational.

But the most important lesson of their visit comes from a simple moment of kindness.

During a Halloween museum event, Hapki notices a child who has arrived late and worries that there may not be any treats left. Instead of keeping everything for himself, Hapki happily shares some of his own treats.

A small act of generosity makes a new friend smile—and reminds everyone that Halloween is even happier when we make sure nobody feels left out.

With Wiggle fluttering alongside them, the family celebrates, explores, learns, laughs, and discovers another wonderful way to live the Hapkinful values of happiness, kindness, and gratitude.

And when the Halloween adventure is over, there is still plenty more fun waiting inside the book!

Each book includes over 20 fun activity pages created especially for young children. The activities encourage creativity, imagination, observation, learning, kindness, and gratitude while extending the adventure beyond the story.
